The City Council announces the professional team, the corporate image and the vehicle that will allow this resource to be brought closer to all the neighborhoods of the municipality.
On Wednesday morning, the Vallehermoso City Council held the official presentation ceremony of the new Promotion and Care Service for the Elderly, a resource designed to reinforce social care and support for this group throughout the municipality.
During the event, the professional team of the winning company that will provide the service was presented, as well as the corporate image that will identify this new resource and the vehicle with which travel through the different population centers will be carried out. The contract, awarded for an amount of 82,429.91 euros and with an initial duration of twelve months, represents a commitment by the City Council to bring social services closer to older people, favoring personalized care adapted to their needs.
This service will be developed in all the neighborhoods of the municipality and will include a broad program of promotional, accompaniment and personalized attention activities, with the aim of promoting active aging, preventing situations of unwanted loneliness and contributing to the well-being and quality of life of older people.
The mayor of Vallehermoso, Emiliano Coello, highlighted that "the launch of this service represents another step in our commitment to the elderly in the municipality, bringing social care closer to where it is most needed and offering close, quality support." Likewise, he pointed out that he trusts that "this new resource will be well received by the neighbors and will contribute to improving the well-being of our elderly, making it easier for them to continue carrying out their daily lives in their usual environment with the support they need."
The event also served for attendees to learn first-hand about the operation of the service, the professional team in charge of developing it and the resources that will be available from its launch. With this initiative, the Vallehermoso City Council continues to strengthen its social policies through the implementation of new resources aimed at improving the quality of life of older people, favoring close, accessible care adapted to the needs of each person.
