The Valle Gran Rey City Council reminds that this Thursday, October 22, an informative talk will be held on the new regulations regarding vacation homes. The meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the assembly hall of the Faride Cruz Niebla Cultural Center and will allow you to learn about the changes introduced by the regulation and resolve doubts about its application.
The event will feature the participation of Ignacio Díaz de Aguilar, lawyer and legal advisor to FECAM on this matter, and Prashant Khemlani, advisor to the ASG parliamentary group in the Parliament of the Canary Islands. During their interventions, the regulatory changes will be addressed, how they affect the interested parties and the procedures they must follow depending on their situation.
The mayor of Valle Gran Rey, Borja Barroso, highlights that "this meeting is essential to resolve doubts and have clear information about the changes that affect vacation housing, a fundamental tourism modality for Valle Gran Rey in particular and for La Gomera in general." Likewise, it encourages participation in the talk to “know the steps to follow in each situation and face regulatory changes with greater knowledge and security.”
The event is aimed at both those who already carry out the holiday home activity and people who are considering dedicating a property to this use, as well as citizens interested in learning about the new regulation. Attendees will be able to ask their questions and clarify issues related to the steps they must take in each case.
The City Council encourages you to participate in this event, conceived as a space for information and dialogue about an activity that is part of the municipality's tourist offer.
