The Cabildo of La Gomera has reported, this Friday, the reopening to the public of the collection service at the Punto Limpio, located in San Sebastián. Starting this week, activity resumes after the implementation of a protocol that guarantees the correct management of waste and the safety of citizens who use the facilities.
Public attention is channeled through an appointment system at 646.392.439. Access to the premises is done individually, with mandatory use of masks and respecting the safety distance of 2 meters with staff. The handling of the waste that is deposited is reduced to a minimum, for which it will be necessary to use gloves and disinfection with hydroalcoholic gel, explained the Minister of Sustainability, Héctor Cabrera.
Clean points are adequately equipped facilities where, previously selected by citizens, household waste that, due to its volume or toxicity, cannot be deposited in street containers, for subsequent reuse, recycling or recovery, is received.
