The action makes it possible to minimize the variations in the terrain and the erosion produced by the

The president of the Cabildo, Casimiro Curbelo, reported, this Friday, of the award
of the conditioning and improvement works on the slope of the Hermitage of Los Santos Reyes,
in Valle Gran Rey, to the company Transportes y Excavaciones Nino S.L. The investment
reaches 774,334.69 euros, coming from a direct subsidy granted by the
Government of the Canary Islands to the insular Institution, the result of cooperation between both
administrations.
The forecast included in the project proposes the minimization of variations in the
terrain, avoiding the erosion produced by the passage of the ravine channel. Thus, it will be demolished
the existing breakwater on both banks to begin the construction of the walls of
exposed stone, which will act as a point of containment at different levels, creating
garden and walking spaces for citizens.
The new infrastructure will be equipped with the bases for the placement of the future access
to the area via a lift or lift. Similarly, drainage works
will enable the creation of a 3.5 meter wide pedestrian walkway, which
It will be accompanied by four tubes with 3 meters in diameter, at the crossing of the ravine
which gives access to the public area.
Curbelo recalled that the initiative has the support of the Parish Council, whose
members participated in the presentation of the project proposal, held in
Great King Valley. At that moment, the urgency of this action was raised, which comes to
provide coverage to a neighborhood demand, which affects one of the most public spaces
characteristic of the town.
Stormwater optimization works in El Llano
The Cabildo carries out the works to optimize and improve the stormwater network in El Llano. HE

stagnation in this section of the road. For this reason, currently a

to the El Mago Rotunda.
In addition, other complementary measures are carried out to cover slopes and
pedestrian safety in the crossing of Arure, Lomo del Moral, Casa de la Seda, La Calera and
El Llano, along with new pavement, sidewalks and gutters at other points of the route.
