The Vallehermoso City Council, through the commission to Gesplan, improves access and creates new steps in this core
The Vallehermoso City Council continues to move forward with the Accessibility Plan in the neighborhoods of the municipality through the commission made to Gesplan. In this way, at the moment the works are concentrated in Macayo, where new steps are being built and railings are being placed in the lower area, since these accesses were in poor condition.
It is worth remembering that the improvements made in the neighborhoods of the municipality over the last few months include, among others, the improvement of roads and access to homes in Tamargada and El Ingenio, the cleaning and tuning of spaces and public lighting as well as the cleaning and renovation of accesses in Alojera or the improvement of the sanitation network, public lighting and accessibility in El Cercado and Chipude.
For Emiliano Coello, mayor of Vallehermoso, “these actions are necessary since many residents of these neighborhoods are elderly people who demanded an improvement in access, especially in terms of safety, so we are trying to place new railings and lay a new pavement that prevents slipping in the rainy season,” he explains.
