Binter announces that starting next November 11 it will resume the connection with the African continent, with the resumption of flights between the Canary Islands and Mauritania. The company activates this route after the improvement of the health context in the country and with the aim of actively contributing to the maintenance of connectivity and tourist and economic recovery in both territories.
As a novelty, the flights will be carried out with the airline's new Embraer E195-E2, aircraft that offer passengers a high level of comfort. It is the quietest, cleanest and most efficient single-aisle reactor. Its configuration of two seats on each side and more space between rows means that the passenger enjoys greater personal space. Furthermore, among their many specifications, they are equipped with modern HEPA filters that filter 99.9% of pathogens and guarantee cabin air quality at all times.
These measures, together with the protocols and procedures put in place by the airline since the beginning of the health crisis generated by COVID-19, are what have ensured that air transport has proven to be safe, with an incidence of one case for every 27 million passengers transported.
On flights to Mauritania, all passengers must complete a public health form and submit it upon arrival in the country. In addition, passengers with non-Mauritanian nationality must present a negative PCR test carried out within 72 hours prior to flight departure.
In this sense, all passengers are recommended to consult the requirements set by the governments of each country for travelers before purchasing and flying.
