The municipality of Agulo will join again this year in La Noche Romantica, a
initiative promoted by the Association of the Most Beautiful Towns of Spain that is
celebrated simultaneously in numerous municipalities in Spain and Europe to put into practice
value the charm of small towns and turn them into unique settings for
enjoy love, culture and coexistence.
The programming, organized by the Agulo City Council and which has the
support of the Island Council of La Gomera, will take place on June 19 and 20
under the motto “Fall in love with Agulo”, with a series of proposals aimed at both
neighbors and visitors.
The programming will start on Friday, June 19 with the screening of the film “The
Lady and the Tramp”, one of the most emblematic romantic stories in cinema,
in a space specially decorated for the occasion and with free distribution of
popcorn for attendees.
The main event will take place on Saturday, June 20. The experience will start from
at 8:00 p.m. in the participating restaurants of the municipality, where the musicians
Eliseo Llorena and Domingo Santos will liven up the dinners with live music,
creating a special atmosphere for those who decide to enjoy local gastronomy
before joining the main celebration.
Starting at 10:00 p.m., the activity will move to Plaza Leoncio Bento, where
The performance of the Gomero singer Alonso Simancas will begin, in a space
specially set for the occasion.
At 11:00 p.m. one of the most anticipated moments of the night will take place, “The
Most Beautiful Kiss in the World”, a symbolic action that is celebrated simultaneously
in all the participating municipalities of La Noche Romántica and that every year brings together
thousands of people around the same gesture of affection and union.
After the collective toast with Layla craft beer, the evening will continue with music
live and will conclude with the drawing of several experiences for two people in the
Bancal Hotel, including brunch vouchers and spa circuit.
With this proposal, Agulo is once again part of one of the most unique events
promoted by the Association of the Most Beautiful Towns of Spain, inviting
residents and visitors to enjoy a different experience in one of the
most charming municipalities in the Canary Islands
