The City Council launches a new training action within the Vallehermoso Digital Program, framed in its Sustainability Plan, to support businesses, self-employed workers and entrepreneurs in the municipality
The Vallehermoso City Council takes a new step in its sustainable development and local innovation strategy with the launch of the first workshop of the Digital Transformation Program: Boost your business with specialized advice, a line of action that is part of the recently presented Vallehermoso Tourism and Digital Sustainability Plan.
This first training workshop, titled “Social Networks and Web Positioning”, will take place on Thursday, May 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the PFAE Classroom of the Vallehermoso School Residence, and will be directed by digital communication specialist Julia Socorro.
The workshop is aimed at self-employed people, entrepreneurs and managers of small businesses who want to improve their online visibility and adapt to the new dynamics of the digital market. During the session, the benefits of digitalization for commercial activity will be addressed, showing how digital tools allow you to expand the scope of business, optimize processes and generate new sales opportunities.
It will also be explained how to design a digital marketing plan from scratch, starting from the specific objectives of each economic activity and organizing strategies according to the available resources. The speaker will delve into the professional use of social networks such as Instagram or Facebook, guiding their application according to the different customer profiles.
One of the central axes will be the analysis of the conversion funnel, which allows transforming followers into customers, and the management of customer relationship centers, aimed at building loyalty, answering questions and maintaining effective communication. Likewise, basic tools will be offered to measure results, interpret data and adjust digital campaigns strategically.
The workshop will include practical recommendations on what to post, when to post it and how to maintain a consistent, professional and attractive image across all digital channels. Finally, the importance of presence in search engines such as Google will be addressed, introducing key concepts of local SEO that allow improving the position of businesses on the Internet and attracting nearby clientele.

This workshop, framed in the Digital Vallehermoso initiative, represents a practical tool so that the economic fabric of the municipality can adapt to a constantly changing environment. Digitalization not only strengthens the competitiveness of businesses, but also contributes to establishing the population, generating employment and diversifying the local economy.
The program has the support of the European Union through NextGenerationEU funds, the Government of Spain, the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, the Government of the Canary Islands (Department of Tourism and Employment), and the Vallehermoso City Council, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
With this new action, the City Council reaffirms its commitment to an intelligent transformation of the municipality, where innovation, training and the use of the digital environment are put at the service of a more resilient, modern and connected Vallehermoso.
