Nueva Canarias Tenerife participates in the elections with the idea of transforming the island and its municipalities

The mayor of Tacoronte, Daniel Díaz, heads the list for Parliament and Valentín Correa appears as number one of the Canarian party of progress to the Island Council
Nueva Canarias Tenerife has presented this Friday, before the Central Electoral Board, the lists with which it will participate in the next elections on May 28, with the aim of continuing with the process of implementing the Canarian formation of progress in Tenerife and transforming the island and its municipalities from the administrations. The youth of the people who make up them, their academic training and proven solvency in public administration will be their main assets.
The mayor of Tacoronte, Daniel Díaz, heads the list for Parliament for Tenerife. Díaz, 48 years old, has provided the northern municipality with the stability it lacked, which has made it possible to boost the local economy – generating wealth in commerce and hospitality –, in addition to recording the best employment data in the last 14 years.
Furthermore, Díaz has improved Social Services by changing all municipal ordinances that had a social aspect, mainly those related to disabilities, the elderly and dependency, so that aid can be granted during all months of the year and not only annually.
Daniel Díaz will be accompanied, in his candidacy for Parliament for Tenerife, by Sara Cabello, 32 years old, graduated in Geography and Territorial Planning and who has extensive experience in Government tasks during her time as councilor of the El Rosario City Council. The first five places are completed by Antonio Javier Gómez, Juana María Artiles and Carlos Llarena.
The candidate expressed his confidence in "representing from Parliament, as Tenerife deserves, the women and men of this island that, for quite some time, has had in turn and co-government two political formations that have not been able to see the problems that this island really suffers from. We have suffered governments that have forgotten about the people and that, in addition, have implemented infrastructures that have not solved either the mobility problems or the socio-health problems."
“New Canary Islands – Daniel Díaz continued – arrives strongly at this electoral process and we aspire to break into Parliament for Tenerife with our own voice, which differs absolutely from all those who have silenced the people and citizens of this island during the last four years.”
Tenerife Council
The Secretary of Territorial Implementation of Nueva Canarias, Valentín Correa, appears as number one on the list presented by the Canarian progress formation to the Tenerife Cabildo. Correa, 42 years old, is an agricultural engineer and has carried out his political work in the Santa Úrsula City Council. He will be accompanied by the economist Janet Aguiar, who is currently a councilor in the Arona City Council; Óscar Izquierdo, economist and president of NC in La Laguna; Juan Daniel Fajardo, Law graduate and councilor of the El Sauzal City Council for AISA-Nueva Canarias; and Leticia del Carmen López, chemical engineer and councilor of the Tacoronte City Council.
Correa, for his part, admitted that he is especially excited "to have in this candidacy for the Cabildo a group of young women and men, qualified and experienced in the local administrations of different municipalities in Tenerife. We come to build an island project through a program that proposes solutions for the serious problems we suffer in mobility, socio-health care, discharges into the sea and other aspects related to the water cycle. Tenerife needs a plan and the time has come for them to give way to Nueva Canary Islands, which arrives committed to the citizens of this island to transform it towards the direction that it has been asking for for many years," he concluded.
