Two of the programs are focused on the employment of young people and two others are aimed at people over 30 years of age.

The Adeje City Council, through the Economic Development and Employment area chaired by Raquel Rodríguez Alonso, has announced that during 2022 it is carrying out 4 Training Programs in Alternation with Employment (PFAE), which are benefiting 60 job seekers residing in the municipality. Two of the programs are aimed at the insertion of young people (16 to 29 years old) and the other two for people over 30 years old.

"The PFAES have a duration of 11 months, are initiated from subsidies from the Canary Islands Employment Service (SCE) and are carried out in the various beneficiary entities. Each of these projects has the objective of professionally qualifying and facilitating the employability of unemployed people in the municipality through a training contract that allows the obtaining of Professional Certificates in various specialties, combining classroom training and real work for this purpose," said the councilor.

Rodríguez Alonso pointed out that "each PFAE is made up of 20 people, 5 make up the coordinator-teacher team and the other 15 correspond to the student-worker. On this occasion, as there are 4 programs that are being carried out in Adeje, the coordination-teacher team amounts to 20 people (5 for each PFAE) and the remaining 60 people make up the bulk of the student-worker of the four programs.
