He Saturday September 12, the Plaza de La Constitución in Vallehermoso will host, starting at 6:00 p.m., the Great Columbian Circus, a proposal aimed at children and families that incorporates the performing arts into the programming of this edition of the Conference.
Later, at 8:00 p.m., the same space will be the scene of the VIII edition of the Festival Colombino de la Décima y el Punto Cubano, an event that once again highlights the oral tradition and the cultural links between the Canary Islands and America.
The meeting will feature the participation of speakers such as Yeray Rodríguez and Eduardo Duque, among others, who will bring to the public one of the most representative expressions of the oral heritage shared between both sides of the Atlantic.
The décima and the Cuban point thus once again occupy a prominent space within the Columbian Days, reinforcing a tradition transmitted for generations and closely linked to the cultural relations between the Canary Islands and countries like Cuba.

The Cuban group, winner of two Latin Grammy awards, will arrive in La Gomera with a proposal that brings to the fore the rhythms and sounds of the Cuban musical tradition, reinforcing through music the historical cultural links that exist between Cuba and the Canary Islands.
The concert is presented as one of the outstanding musical events of this LXV edition of the Jornadas Colombinas, incorporating this formation with extensive experience and international projection into its programming.
