The Exposaldo Island Fair of La Gomera 2026 is held from October 9 to 11 in the Plaza de las Américas, in San Sebastián de La Gomera, with commercial activities, workshops, musical performances, children's proposals and a fashion parade
The Exposaldo Island Fair of La Gomera 2026 opens its doors this Friday in the Plaza de las Américas, in San Sebastián de La Gomera, beginning a new edition that will take place on October 9, 10 and 11 with an extensive program aimed at all audiences.
The event will once again bring together the commercial fabric of the island in one of the main showcases for economic revitalization and promotion of local commerce, offering throughout the weekend a combination of a large commercial area with products at bargain prices, and leisure activities, workshops, a fashion show, and musical performances.
The official opening of the fair will take place this Friday, October 9, at 5:00 p.m. From that moment on, the public will be able to tour the commercial area and learn about the offerings of the participating establishments. The first day will be accompanied by music starting at 7:00 p.m. with a performance by Grupo Los Satélites.
The programming will continue on Saturday the 10th, starting at 10:00 a.m., with the opening of doors. The morning session will include, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the development of children's crafts and face painting workshops. In addition, throughout the day, multi-obstacle bouncy castles will be available for the little ones in the house.
Starting at 11:00 a.m. the live broadcast of Radio Rumberos FM programming will take place, in addition to the family show with the performance of Güicho Estévez. It will be from 1:00 p.m. when the group Hijos del Silbo performs live, which will carry out a second musical performance at 7:15 p.m.
In the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., sustainable workshops linked to the reuse of clothing will be held. As one of the main attractions of the day, at 8:30 p.m. a fashion show will take place with the participation of businesses on the island, who will show the public the clothing and accessories of the new season, as well as designers participating in the La Gomera, Moda y Magia project with points of sale on the island.
On Sunday, Exposaldo will reopen its doors at 10:00 a.m., with bouncy castles and sustainable clothing reuse workshops. The program will also include a new performance by Grupo Los Satélites, scheduled for 1:00 p.m., before the presentation of diplomas and the official closing of the fair, which will take place at 2:00 p.m.
