Workshops, round table, storytellers' roundtable, music and writing contests
complete an extensive program that will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Plaza del
Carmen from the town.
Next Sunday, July 13, it will take place in the Plaza del Carmen in Playa de Santiago starting at
10:30 hours the fourth edition of the Book Fair 'El Puerto de las Letras' within the festive events of
this town with an extensive program that is complemented with workshops of different kinds, contests
writing, music concert, storytellers' circle and even round table throughout the day until
10:00 p.m.
The fair begins at 10:30 a.m. and also begins the quick writing contest 'A la
shadow of the laurel'.
Various children's workshops will then be held, such as the story 'Pop Up' Ecos del Oceana
by Sara González. And the Character Design for afternoon improvisation by Iván
Marrero and Ariadna Martínez.
Between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. a children's story session 'Heading to the
adventure' by Cristina Temprano.
From 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 'The music continues while the books and writers
They will remain under the laurel in the square throughout the day.
The quick writing contest is scheduled to close at 7:00 p.m. And at 7:30 p.m.

At 8:00 p.m. there will be a round table of Gomero writers moderated by the poet and editor
Roberto Toledo under the name 'La Gomera prose by prose, verse by verse' and at 8:30 p.m., Rueda de

The day will end with the awards ceremony for the quick writing contest at 8:50 p.m. and at
9:00 p.m. a great tribute concert to Punteo Gomero will begin by Emilio Negrín and the
Our Lady the Virgin of El Paso Musical Association.
