The total interruption of traffic will occur this Wednesday, August 19, between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., at kilometer point 1+600

The action is part of the emergency works being carried out on this road in the municipality of Hermigua
The Cabildo of La Gomera reports that this Wednesday, August 19, there will be a total traffic shutdown on the CV-14 highway in El Rejo, in the municipality of Hermigua, between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., due to the work being carried out at kilometer point 1+600. Access to the El Cedro hamlet is guaranteed through the intersection of the CV-14 with the GM-2.
This measure is adopted within the framework of the emergency actions carried out on the CV-14, specifically to continue with the stabilization work of the slope located on the side of the road.
The planned work includes the placement of triple twist mesh and other protection elements. Due to the height and slope of the slope, it is necessary to use a crane to lift materials.
The dimensions of the machinery require it to occupy the entire surface of the road, so circulation is interrupted in order to guarantee safety during the development of the work.
The insular Institution asks road users to take this temporary restriction into account when planning their trips and appreciates their understanding of any inconvenience that may be caused by work aimed at improving road safety.
