The Cabildo of La Gomera hosts, starting this Friday, February 18, starting at 12:00 p.m., the photographic exhibition 'La Gomera from the sky', by Arturo Clavijo. It is an exhibition made up of 60 images that immortalize the La Gomera coastline through the use of a drone. The exhibition can be visited until March 18, in the Exhibition Hall of the island Institution.

The insular Minister of Culture, Rosa Elena García, highlighted the Cabildo's commitment to providing this space at the headquarters of the insular Institution "with samples and exhibitions of painting, drawing and photography by Canarian, national, and even international artists, in order to bring art closer to citizens."

This photographic exhibition highlights the varied landscape that La Gomera contains in just 370 square kilometers, and in which the mild and humid climate favors the development of a unique natural forest environment.

For the author, the numerous charms of La Gomera make it a unique and exceptional space, “his personal paradise” in which he works, rests, feels, savors and experiences. For this reason, he wanted to capture its beauty from a different perspective, with a drone behind him, in the desire to connect new technologies with the essence of authenticity, to show the grandeur of the corners of the island.
