These are complete applications for which it is not necessary to require any additional documents.
The City Council of San Sebastián de La Gomera has chosen this Tuesday to partially resolve the aid to students residing in the municipality corresponding to the last call. With this measure, which is of an exceptional nature motivated by the alarm decree, financial resources are advanced to forty-six families in the municipality for a total amount of 13,810.92 euros.
“For the rest of the applications submitted and not yet resolved, work continues to get them out as soon as possible,” said the mayor of San Sebastián de La Gomera, Adasat Reyes, who indicated that most of them are pending some documentation or clarification that will have to be required and that, because the administrative deadlines are suspended, it has not yet been possible.
“For this reason, we opted for an intermediate solution that allows close to 50% of the requests to have a more agile response and that will be transferred, almost certainly starting today,” he announced.
Finally, regarding the amounts, he pointed out that the average is €265 when including new eligible concepts in this call.
It is worth remembering that among the requirements requested to access it was being registered in the municipality and studying at a University or Educational Center located outside the island of La Gomera. Likewise, those who have obtained a bachelor's degree and are taking a master's degree, which is mandatory to practice a certain profession, could access it. Those UNED students who prove that their studies include mandatory tutorials that make it necessary to travel to other islands could also benefit.
