The Alajeró City Council has awarded the maintenance contract for the CEO Santiago Apóstol, the largest educational center in the municipality located in Playa de Santiago.
In this sense and for an amount of 85,065 euros, the corresponding rethinking document was signed last Tuesday, June 23.
On December 30, 2025, the Minister of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands signed the corresponding order granting the Consistory the advance payment of a direct subsidy, intended to finance the expenses derived from the execution of works projects under the name 'CEO Santiago Apóstol Maintenance Works' for an amount of 95,150.63 euros, which included the fees for drafting the project and the direction. optional of the works.
The planned interventions will consist of modifying two patios on the second floor of the educational center; repair of the bathrooms in the children's section; various repairs to exterior carpentry and emergency stairs; expansion of the outdoor warehouse; repairs to the roof and the court cover and replacement of part of the school's own fencing.
