The Agulo City Council puts out to tender the rehabilitation and improvement of the Plaza de La Palmita

The Agulo City Council has published the tender for the rehabilitation and improvement works of Plaza de La Palmita, a strategic action aimed at modernizing this public space and adapting it to current standards of accessibility, safety and efficiency.

The Plaza de La Palmita constitutes the main meeting and coexistence point of the neighborhood, housing facilities for social and community use such as the old School House - current doctor's office and municipal hall -, the hermitage of San Isidro Labrador and a neighborhood recreation area. With this intervention, the City Council seeks to improve the quality of the urban space and reinforce its role as the center of the neighborhood's social life.

The action has a base bidding budget of 530,848.18 euros (IGIC included) and an execution period of three months. The contract is processed through a simplified open procedure, guaranteeing competition and transparency in the award.

Among the main improvements planned are the renewal of pavements, the adaptation to universal accessibility regulations and the improvement of public lighting, contributing to a safer, more inclusive and functional environment for neighbors and visitors.

Interested companies may submit their offers until January 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Peninsular time), electronically through the Public Sector Contracting Platform.

All the information related to the tender for this work, financed thanks to an agreement with the Island Council of La Gomera, is available in the profile of the contractor of the Agulo City Council.
