More than two hundred and sixty families from San Sebastián de La Gomera received this Friday the payment in account of the aid requested in 2019. Transfers that are added to the income of the subsidies destined for non-profit cultural groups and whose amount amounts to 11,998 euros.
In this sense, the mayor of San Sebastián de La Gomera, Adasat Reyes, indicated that one hundred and thirty-five pensioners received 444.44 euros within the framework of the collaboration provided annually by the City Council within primary social assistance aid, which represents a total of 59,999.40 euros.
Likewise, one hundred and eighteen families with students in the second cycle of early childhood education have received, on average, 114 euros to reduce the costs of going back to school in terms of textbooks and school books.
Finally, and with regard to the aid provided by the City Council to non-profit entities, 11,998.61 euros have also been paid this Friday, allowing the continuation of the promotion of the cultural activity that takes place in the municipality, among which are the AMPAS, Youth Associations or Neighborhood Associations.
Finally, the City Council reported on the processing of aid for young people who are studying outside the island and that it is currently in the final stretch, concluding the review of all the necessary documentation in order to prepare the requirements for whatever is necessary.
