The City Council proceeds to replace the old luminaire with new ones with lower consumption and energy efficiency
The Arguamul neighborhood will have new, more powerful, more sustainable, more economical and efficient lighting thanks to the replacement of the old luminaire with LED technology in the neighborhood's public lighting. These works will be carried out once the service is awarded, as the City Council has been carrying out in recent months in different areas of the municipality.
Among the planned actions include the repair of light points that are currently not in service, as well as the replacement of lighting with LED luminaires, in this sense "a priority for the ASG Government Group is not only energy efficiency, but also that the investments reach all the neighborhoods of the municipality," explains the mayor, Emiliano Coello.
The municipal head of Services, Ramiro Coello, expresses himself in the same terms, explaining that this replacement "allows a saving of 35% on average with the new technologies available, in addition to promoting environmental improvement by using less energy to illuminate the public areas and spaces of Arguamul."
The City Council points out that when selecting the materials to be installed, those that have a longer useful life, are more ecological and have less impact have been chosen.
