Pavón paving works awarded

The investment exceeds 177,000 euros and will be financed with funds from the FDCAN

This past Wednesday, the Vallehermoso City Council awarded the paving works for the Pavón area, in Chipude, for an amount exceeding 177,000 euros. This work will be financed with part of the funds corresponding to the FDCAN 2019 agreement and has an execution period of 6 months.

The mayor of Vallehermoso, Emiliano Coello, expressed his satisfaction this Thursday with the announcement of the award of works "necessary not only for the residents themselves, but because they will be carried out in an emblematic environment of access to La Fortaleza and are also important in order to improve the safety of tourists and hikers," he explains.

In this sense, the president explains that in addition to paving the road, the works are aimed "at guaranteeing the urban services of the Pavón hamlet, including access to health services, almost to the current center of the nucleus, improving a necessary service for the population, without losing the characteristics of a pedestrian path."

The Councilor for Infrastructure and Equipment, Óscar Hernández, lists that among the planned actions are demolitions, earthworks, concreting and construction of walls, sanitation and stormwater, drinking water supply, low voltage network, public lighting, telephone, pavements and street furniture. “All this guaranteeing the safety of both residents and tourists and hikers in an environment as privileged as El Pavón,” he concludes.
